Equilibrium of Submerged Bodies

Two types.

• Fully submerged bodies
• Partially submerged bodies

For equilibrium of such body:

• Weight of the object must be equal to upthrust.
• Center of buoyancy and center of gravity of the submerged body must be on a vertical line.
